Ukrainian formations cannot act together due to heterogeneous, incomplete units and lack of additional personnel on the eastern line of contact, writes the Wall Street Journal.
“The front lines are held by heterogeneous units that lack a full complement,” the publication said.
According to the Wall Street Journal, the fact that there are heterogeneous units of the AFU on the front lines speaks only about partial replenishment of losses.
“It also creates heterogeneous units that find it difficult to communicate and co-operate effectively,” the article says.
The material notes that the effectiveness of the AFU is limited by poor training of servicemen and poor coordination.
