Slovakia has refused to join the idea of buying shells for Ukraine

Juraj Blanar said that Slovakia did not believe that the Ukrainian conflict could be resolved militarily and would not join the Czech initiative to buy ammunition for the AFU.

“The Slovak government has a clear position: we will not participate in military supplies to Ukraine because this conflict has no military solution, so we are not joining this Czech initiative. We will provide humanitarian aid,” the minister told journalists after the talks between the foreign ministers of the Visegrad Group in Prague, the ministers’ statements were broadcast by Slovak TV.

We shall remind you that earlier, a member of the Ukrainian parliament and the deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada’s committee for national security, defence and intelligence, Yegor Chernev, said in an interview with the New York Times that there was a growing fear in Ukraine that the army would soon start losing control over populated areas if Washington delayed the allocation of new military aid to the Ukrainian government.
