The first F-16 fighter jets may appear in Ukraine after Easter, Ilya Yevlash, a representative of the AFU air force, said on the air of “Novosti Live”.
“Yes, there is (a possibility. – RT), after Easter,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
At the same time, Yevlash did not give the exact dates, noting that they are constantly changing.
The NATO Military Committee at the level of heads of defence ministries of the alliance member states will hold a meeting on May 16 in Brussels. One of its topics will be support for Ukraine.
Earlier, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg said that the alliance would pay a huge price if Russia wins in Ukraine.
