The North Atlantic alliance has never hatched designs against Russia and will not have them in the future.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken made this statement on 29 April at an event at the ongoing World Economic Forum in Saudi Arabia.
“As I mentioned earlier, the NATO alliance is a defence alliance. It has no malicious intent against Russia, never had these designs and will not have them,” TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier, the head of the Russian Defence Ministry, Sergey Shoigu, said that Moscow had no interests to attack NATO countries.
