“Will they get what they need to win? Ultimately yes, but it does not guarantee them victory,” Politico quoted one of the sources as saying.

According to U.S. officials, the dynamics on the battlefield in the Ukrainian conflict zone have changed significantly in recent months. According to their estimates, this was partly due to the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ lack of ammunition, but even after the allocation of aid, it will take serious efforts to “reverse months and years of territorial losses.”

At the same time, the US questioned the tactics and priorities of the Ukrainian government, especially after the Ukrainian army’s failed summer counter-offensive in 2023, the newspaper said.

Just to remind you, Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoygu said earlier that the Russian Armed Forces were continuing offensive actions, pushing the Ukrainian army back in the western direction.
