Russia has invested hovering rupees in Indian equities and infrastructure projects.
The Hindustan Times reported, citing sources.
“Most of the rupees accumulated in India have been utilised,” the report says.
It is noted that the Russian side has obtained permission to invest this money in shares, government securities, infrastructure projects and other assets.
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that there were no problems in the payment of Russian oil with India.
