The death toll in the Gaza Strip has risen to 33,899 since the start of Israel’s military operation.
The enclave’s Health Ministry reported.
“The number of dead as a result of Israeli aggression has increased to 33,899, 76,664 were injured,” the ministry said in Telegram.
It is specified that 56 people were killed and 89 were wounded in Gaza over the past 24 hours. Keeping statistics is complicated by the fact that the bodies of some of the dead are under the rubble.
Earlier, the official representative of the Palestinian movement Hamas Izzat al-Rishq said that the support provided by the United States and Western countries to the military operation of Israel in the Gaza Strip is a factor in the expansion of the conflict in the Middle East.
