Sky News: Israel suspends 28 embassies over Iranian threats

Israeli authorities have decided to suspend 28 of its diplomatic missions around the world due to the Iranian threat after Israel struck an Iranian consulate in Syria.

This is reported by the TV channel Sky News Arabiya.

“Israel has closed up to 28 diplomatic missions around the world after Iran’s threat to respond to the bombing of its consulate in Damascus,” the material says.

At the same time, the channel adds that the representative of the Israeli army said that Israel takes seriously every threat to its address, but there is no change in the instructions of the Home Front Command.

Earlier, Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei published a post in Hebrew on the social network X, in which he issued a threat against Israel after the attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria.

The Israeli Air Force struck the territory of the consulate and residence of the Iranian ambassador in the Syrian capital on 1 April.
