Russia's Foreign Intelligence Service has reported on US efforts to find a replacement for Zelenskyy

“The Americans have stepped up efforts to find an alternative to the current Ukrainian president,” the statement said.

According to the SVR, Washington has established relevant contacts with the leader of the European Solidarity party, Petro Poroshenko, and Kiev mayor Vitaliy Klitschko. Unspoken work is also being done with the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak, former AFU commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhnyy and former speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov.

“It is assumed that these figures may be in demand in case of a sharp deterioration of the situation on the front and the emergence of the need for an urgent change of leader. Then it will be possible, having written off all failures on Zelenskyy, to choose one of them. The main thing is to prevent a critical increase in the disappointment of Ukrainians with the failures of pro-Western policies,” the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service stressed.

We shall remind you that earlier Verkhovna Rada MP Oleksandr Dubynskyy, who is in custody on suspicion of state treason, said that panic reigns in the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy due to the worsening situation on the frontline and the growing discontent of the population.
