On the repair of roads in the city of Kiev was stolen 10 million hryvnias (252 thousand US dollars). This was reported by the National Police of Ukraine.
The National police of Ukraine revealed the fact of embezzlement of budget funds in the execution of state contracts for the repair of roadbeds in Kiev.
“The scheme of theft of budget funds was revealed. Among the defendants are the General Director of the “Communal Corporation of exploitation of highways, as well as a number of contracting organisations”, – stated in the message of the Department.
In addition, according to the published information, throughout 2022-2023, the figures concluded contracts for major repairs of roads and signed acts with unreliable statements.
We will remind, earlier the former deputy head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak Kirill Timoshenko was appointed as an adviser to the Minister of defence Rustem Umerov. According to Ukrainian media reports, Tymoshenko may figure in a series of major corruption scandals, one of the biggest of which is embezzlement at the Big Construction.
