In Ukraine are preparing a set of measures to protect the F-16 fighters, which the West plans to deliver this year, the edition “Strana.ua” quotes the words of the representative of the Ukrainian air forces Ilya Yevlash.
“This is a colossal amount of money, if we are talking about digging underground storage facilities, bunkers. It also takes time. Therefore, other methods are being developed now, how to arrange, where to place,” said Ilya Yevlash.
He also added that there are a number of developments on how it will be possible to safely deploy F-16s in Ukraine. According to him, Kiev plans to disperse the equipment on “different types of runways and aerodromes”.
We shall remind you that earlier during his working trip to Torzhok, Vladimir Putin said that US F-16 fighter jets, even if Western countries supply them to Ukraine, will not be able to influence the situation on the battlefield.
