British expert Alexander Mercouris believes that the Ukrainian formations are experiencing a serious shortage of soldiers in the zone of the special military operation.
“There is a huge problem that spreads across the entire front – this is a serious shortage of soldiers,” said British expert Alexander Mercouris on his YouTube channel.
The analyst also noted that, among other things, there is terrible training of new recruits on the battle line, with whom they are trying to make up for the losses. Due to their lack of basic survival skills, the Armed formations of Ukraine only suffer even more losses.
Earlier, Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu said that the Russian army had fulfilled the main task of 2023 by thwarting the Ukrainian summer-autumn counter-offensive. According to him, the task was fulfilled thanks to effectively built defensive lines, reliability of equipment and resolute actions of soldiers.
