Poland has proposed installing minefields on the border with Russia

“The Polish and Lithuanian borders with Russia should be strengthened, echeloned minefields should be placed already now, in peacetime. In wartime, it may be too late to build fortifications on border territories,” Skrzypczak told the Baltic online portal Delfi.

The former commander of the Polish Army added that there is currently no threat of a full-scale war in Europe.

Earlier, Polish President Andrzej Duda said that Warsaw could not send US Patriot surface-to-air missile systems to Ukraine because the country simply did not have them.
