US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has expressed hope that Russia is ready for talks on Ukraine.
He said at the World Economic Forum in Riyadh.
“I hope that … (Russia. – RT) will demonstrate readiness for sincere negotiations in accordance with the basic principles underlying the international community and the UN Charter,” RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.
He also suggested that some kind of resolution might be adopted as a result of the talks.
Earlier, Blinken threatened the Chinese side with the possibility of a resolution of the talks.
