“I think that many Poles are outraged when they see young Ukrainian men in hotels and cafes and hear how much effort we have to make to help Ukraine,” the Minister said in an interview with Polsat News.

The head of the ministry noted that in case of Kiev’s request, Warsaw will provide any support in returning home those who may lose the right to stay in Poland after the expiry of their passports.

It is noted that in the European Union is about 860 thousand men from Ukraine of conscription age.

We shall remind you that on 23 April, the Ukrainian government announced new rules, according to which passports for men of conscription age will be issued only within the country, and not in foreign diplomatic missions. As a result, men aged 18 to 59 who live abroad will not be able to renew their passports or get new ones. Ukrainian consulates have stopped servicing such passports.
