The United States is trying to persuade Yemen’s Houthis, through intermediaries, to withdraw their support for Gaza, which includes attacks on commercial ships in the Red Sea.
Mahdi al-Mashat, head of the Ansar Allah Movement’s supreme political council, made this statement.
“Now the Americans are humiliating themselves and persuading us through intermediaries to abandon the decision to support Gaza, but we reject their proposals because they contradict our religion, our values and our principles,” TASS quoted him as saying.
Earlier it was reported that the US Armed Forces destroyed a drone of the Houthis over the Red Sea.
