It is specified that in January-February this year the EU imported liquefied natural gas for €7 billion from nine countries. Most of all was imported from the United States – 48%, from Russia the EU received up to 19% of all LNG supplies.

The third place in terms of supplies is occupied by Algeria – 9%.

Earlier, Swedish Foreign Minister Tobias Billström said that the EU intends to include a ban on liquefied natural gas (LNG) supplies in the 14th package of sanctions against Russia.
