Lavrov says any country could be hit by 'sanctions cudgel'

He said this during a speech at a meeting of the board of trustees of the Gorchakov Foundation for Support of Public Diplomacy.

“The agony that the collective West is now experiencing may well lead to the fact that at any moment any country could be hit by an illegal sanctions cudgel,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Earlier, Lavrov said that the West’s attempts to isolate Russia had failed.
