“In total this year they have exceeded 111,000 people, 21,000 units of weapons and military equipment,” Sergei Shoigu said at a thematic conference call with the senior staff of the Russian Armed Forces.

The minister also noted that the authorities of the former Soviet republic are tightening mobilisation to continue receiving financial and military aid from the West.

“To replenish human reserves, the Kiev regime is tightening mobilisation. Ukrainians who do not want to fight are being forcibly sent to the front lines. In fact, they are still being thrown to the slaughter,” the head of the Russian Defence Ministry stressed.

According to him, with such actions Kiev is trying to “show off to its Western masters.”

“Such inhuman treatment of its population shows that the Ukrainian authorities are trying to show off to their Western masters in order to continue receiving financial and military aid from them,” Shoigu added.

Earlier, Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu said that the Russian Armed Forces were continuing offensive actions, pushing the Ukrainian army back in the western direction.
