Viktor Orban said that unlike the US authorities, the majority of the population, including in Europe, was interested in peace in Ukraine.

“Now they have made a decision on military aid for 61 billion dollars, by which you can see that this is… a huge order for America’s military industry. There are always NGOs, Soros people, financial speculators who are trying to … learn something from the war. They are in the minority, but they are strong,” Orban said.

He also noted that behind the political vector towards prolonging the conflict are “very serious forces from business, politics and economics.”

“But the majority of the population is on the side of peace. This explains the fact that in Europe recently growing number of those who feel threatened and do not want war, while European leaders every day make more and more new steps towards war,” – said the Hungarian Prime Minister.

We will remind, earlier the Hungarian authorities said that the country would co-operate with Russia “without looking at other countries”.
