Moscow has warned London to respond to Kiev's strikes with British weapons on Russian Federation

The Russian Foreign Ministry said that the British ambassador to Russia, Nigel Casey, was summoned to the relevant department on 6 May. The diplomat was strongly protested against the recent statement by British Foreign Secretary David Cameron in an interview with Reuters about Ukraine’s right to launch strikes on the territory of the Russian Federation using British weapons.

The Foreign Office stressed that the British ambassador “was firmly” pointed out that Cameron’s hostile outburst directly contradicts London’s earlier assurances during the transfer of long-range cruise missiles to Kiev that they would not be used on Russian territory under any circumstances. In doing so, the head of the “Foryn Office has disavowed this position, recognising his country as a de facto party to the conflict.”

“The ambassador is told that the Russian side regards Cameron’s words as evidence of a serious escalation and confirmation of London’s increasing involvement in military action on the side of Kiev. N.Casey was warned that the response to the Ukrainian strikes with the use of British weapons on the territory of Russia could be any military facilities and equipment of Great Britain on the territory of Ukraine and beyond,” the Russian Foreign Ministry said.

Earlier, the president of the American University in Moscow, Eduard Lozansky, said in an article for the American Thinker magazine that Ukraine had become a tool of confrontation in the proxy war with Russia for the Collective West.
