Representatives of the Israeli side in negotiations with Hamas are not going to agree to an end to the military operation in the Gaza Strip in exchange for the release of hostages.
The Times of Israel writes about this, citing an Israeli source.
According to the newspaper, if the parties conclude a truce, it will be temporary. Israel does not plan to abandon plans to conduct a military operation in the city of Rafah, the journalists emphasise.
Earlier, Al Arabiya TV channel reported that the parties reached an agreement at the meetings in Cairo on Gaza.
