US intelligence sees the “borderless partnership” between Russia and China actually growing in all sectors: political, economic, military and technological, Bloomberg reported, citing assessments outlined by Director of National Intelligence Evryl Haynes.
In particular, she noted that China and Russia were conducting joint exercises that could allegedly be directed against Taiwan.
Last year, the commander of the Admiral Tributs large anti-submarine ship Captain Second Rank Igor Tolbatov noted that the Russian Navy and the Chinese People’s Liberation Army Navy plan to expand the scope of military fleet exercises in 2024, as well as to include training manoeuvres on land.
