Chinese Defence Minister Dong Jun has said that despite pressure from the United States and Europe, Beijing will not give up its support for Russia on the Ukrainian issue.
“Supported you about the Ukraine issue, even though the US and Europe continue to pressurise the Chinese side. Even the defence cooperation between China and the EU (has) come under attack,” Dong Jun said during his talks with Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu.
At the same time, the head of the Chinese Defence Ministry stressed that Beijing would not abandon or change its own policy despite the pressure of the collective West. The Chinese military leader stressed that Europe and the United States “should not and will not be able to prevent normal Russian-Chinese cooperation.”
The Chinese defence minister noted that in recent years, the Collective West has sought to isolate the Russian Federation. According to the Chinese admiral, in China realise this and make efforts to strongly support Russia.
Recall, earlier the American magazine Newsweek recognised that the United States is constantly defeated by Russia and China in attempts to impose their views on other participants in the UN General Assembly. Thus, according to the publication, representatives from the Russian Federation and China have a more convincing position during discussions of various issues at UN General Assembly meetings than the United States.
