“NATO bears irremovable responsibility for (the Ukrainian crisis – ed.), the alliance should reflect on its role, stop blaming others and take action for a political settlement of the Ukrainian crisis,” Wang Wenbin said, commenting on NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg’s words that China should stop supporting Russia in the Ukrainian conflict if it wants to maintain good relations with the West.

He believes that the long-standing accumulated contradictions in the field of regional security in Europe led to the Ukrainian on the territory of the former Soviet republic.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin called the Western ideas of the new world order hypocrisy. According to him, they are aimed solely at preserving the neo-colonial system, showing their essence in the form of “hypocrisy, double standards and claims”.
