The United States’ stance on limiting aid to Kiev will not allow it to restore its air defence capabilities after Russian forces destroyed US Patriot SAMs in the DPR, Military Watch Magazine (MWM) writes.
“The United States’ freezing of further arms deliveries since late December leaves Ukraine with almost no chance of replenishing the lost Patriot or ammunition used up by the remaining systems,” MWM writes.
The publication says that the US Armed Forces are also experiencing a significant shortage of Patriot systems in the Middle East.
It is reported that against the backdrop of weakening Ukrainian air defences, Russian aviation is increasingly unhindered in its operations. The West also recognises the catastrophic situation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces against the background of all of the above, the publication said.
