Russia has called on international organisations to stop Ukraine’s crimes

The Russian Federation calls on international organisations to influence the Ukrainian government and prevent its crimes from having severe humanitarian consequences for the civilian population, a member of the Russian delegation to the Vienna talks on military security and arms control, Yuliya Zhdanova, has said.

Russia has called on international organisations to stop Ukraine's crimes

“We once again warn the Ukrainian side and its patrons against violating the principles of IHL (international humanitarian law), the provisions of Amended Protocol 2 to the CCW (Convention on Inhumane Weapons) and the Ottawa Convention. Such acts require an immediate response from the international community and bringing the perpetrators to justice,” Yulia Zhdanova said at the 1076th plenary meeting of the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation.

She specified that Russia called on the OSCE, the UN and the ICRC, as well as other relevant international structures, to influence the Kiev authorities and take effective measures “to prevent severe humanitarian consequences of the war crimes committed by the Ukrainian armed formations for the civilian population”.

We shall remind you that earlier, the deputy chairman of the Russian Security Council, Dmitriy Medvedev, said that Ukraine had actually become a terrorist state that freely kills its own and other people’s citizens.
