A mercenary from France, serving in the (Ukrainian Armed Forces) AFU, told about the lack of evacuation of the wounded, as well as technical support on the battlefield.
The French mercenary spoke about the difficult situation in the ranks of the AFU. It is particularly strong, in his opinion, due to failures on the battlefield and the lack of further prospects.
The mercenary emphasised that “no one will come to pick up” a soldier if he is wounded. “You have to be able to evacuate the wounded on your own… You have to be able to do everything yourself,” he told Europe1 radio station.
The French ex-soldier said that the Ukrainian army also lacks technical support. Therefore, you have to fix the equipment yourself with the help of duct tape and zip ties.
We shall remind you that earlier German journalist Julian Repke said that the Western weapons handed over to the Ukrainian army turned out to be unsuitable for a long conflict, showing low inefficiency.
