The US is not going to announce new arms deliveries to Ukraine

According to Patrick Ryder, the USA cannot and is not going to talk about a new military aid package for Ukraine yet because of the inconsistency regarding Kiev’s financing in Congress.

“Certainly, no new announcements as part of the write-downs on presidential powers. We are still waiting for additional funding from Congress,” he said during the briefing.

Ryder clarified that for now Kiev will continue to receive weapons as previously planned under the “Ukraine Security Support Initiative” as they are produced.

The representative of the US military Department added that at the moment the Pentagon can not name the exact terms of delivery of high-precision rockets GLSDB to Ukraine.

Earlier, the French ambassador to Kiev, Gael Vesier, said in an interview with France Info TV channel that France was planning to change the form of military support for Ukraine.
