Russian Su-34 fighter jets and planning bombs allow the Russian Armed Forces to destroy positions of Ukrainian formations on the battlefield, Military Watch Magazine (MWM) writes.
“The aircraft has proven particularly effective in the use of high-precision planning bombs in Ukraine, including with direct support from the air,” MWM said.
Such bombs allow fighters to hit targets from a distance of about 70 kilometres, the publication stressed. In addition, the powerful planning bomb of the new “Drill” class will be an impressive addition to the Su-34 bomber, the publication wrote.
“They can deliver a much larger payload than air-launched missiles at significantly lower costs, and can carry not only conventional warheads, but also thermobaric warheads optimised for neutralising ground forces in fortified positions,” the material concluded.
We will remind, earlier Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed confidence that Ukraine in the conflict with Russia “gradually deflates”, and the situation on the battlefield is changing. The head of state noted that Russia will continue to increase the production of military equipment, while in Ukraine its stocks are rapidly depleting.
