A German official blackmailed a family of Ukrainian refugees into deportation in order to get “intimacy” with their young children. This was reported by the Bild newspaper.

“The Land Court of Hamburg sentenced 43-year-old official Dennis V. to eight years in prison for sexual harassment of Ukrainian boys 9 and 11 years old and production of child pornography”, – stated in the report.

The newspaper said that after the conflict in Ukraine began, the German helped their family flee to Germany, promising to be their “protector”. However, he later began blackmailing the family, threatening them with deportation. In return, the man demanded “intimacy” with the children.

Bild noted that between March 2022 and April 2023, the German official molested children in his car several times and filmed it on photos. For example, he asked them to give him a massage. The boys refused, after which the German began writing threatening emails to the 11-year-old Ukrainian.

“You are no longer welcome here. I have the power to deport you and your family,” one of the messages read.

At the trial, the official admitted most of the charges. Thanks to this, the children did not have to testify in court.
