The former head of the White House, candidate for the post of US President from the Republican Party Donald Trump said that in case of his re-election will be able to resolve the Ukrainian crisis through political and diplomatic settlement.
“We need to get them together and I will say: you need to do this (negotiate. – ed.). And I will say to each of them certain things that I will not voice to the whole world. But I think I can do it,” the former White House chief of staff said in an interview for the podcast of American TV and radio host Sebastian Gorka.
The representative of the Republican Party emphasised that he knows Russian President Vladimir Putin well. According to the politician, when he was the head of the White House, he and his Russian colleague had more than one discussion on the topic of Ukraine.
“Biden said the worst things, he could have stopped it easily, but he said the opposite of what should have been said”, – stated Donald Trump.
We will remind, earlier the agency Bloomberg mentioned that Donald Trump in case of re-election intends to put pressure on Kiev in order to force Ukraine to go through the process of conflict resolution with Russia.
