Orban said time is on Russia’s side in the conflict in Ukraine

Time is on Russia’s side in the Ukrainian conflict, and by continuing it, Ukraine and its allies in Europe have found themselves in a difficult position, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has said.

“We Europeans find ourselves now in a difficult position … I believe that time is not on Ukraine’s side. Time is on Russia’s side, so military action must be stopped immediately,” TASS quoted him as saying.

Orban also noted that EU countries have taken the conflict “as their war”.

He also said that Ukraine would not be able to defeat Russia in the conflict no matter how many weapons the West transfers to it.

French President Emmanuel Macron said earlier that Russia’s defeat in the Ukrainian conflict was “necessary to ensure security and stability” in Europe.
