Fifteen lorries and 20 cars arrived at the border to block traffic. The protest action started at 11:00, law enforcers are on duty at the site.

According to the newspaper, the trucks carry posters with inscriptions in Ukrainian, Polish and English. Ukrainian truckers intend to obstruct the movement of drivers from Poland, who bypass the general queue at this checkpoint.

Earlier, the speaker of the State Border Service of Ukraine, Andriy Demchenko, said that all but one checkpoint in Poland had been blocked for Ukrainian trucks. Only the Krakivets checkpoint is open for the movement of Ukrainian carriers.

We shall remind you that in early November 2023 Polish carriers blocked the movement of freight transport at three checkpoints on the border with Ukraine. The protesters demanded the introduction of commercial permits for Ukrainian hauliers and limiting their number.
