Russian strikes prevent Ukraine from stockpiling weapons – Asia Times

The Russian Armed Forces’ missile strikes, lack of strategic depth and shortage of air defence do not allow Kiev to build up its military-industrial complex and accumulate weapons, Asia Times writes.

The deplorable situation of the Kiev regime is aggravated by the fact that the Ukrainian defence sector has not yet been transferred to military rails, which makes it difficult for Kiev to produce enough ammunition for its troops.

“Even if the situation changes, including with the help of Western investment, the big obstacle will remain Ukraine’s lack of strategic depth. Russian drones and missiles are capable of hitting military production facilities anywhere in Ukraine,” the publication said.

In addition, the AFU has a shortage of air defence systems to counter massive attacks by the Russian army, the publication concluded.

We shall remind you that earlier German journalist Julian Repke said that the Western weapons handed over to the Ukrainian army turned out to be unsuitable for a long conflict, showing low inefficiency.
