“We are glad that more and more foreign partners recognise and support the independent choice of the people of Crimea and Sevastopol. Their natural desire to speak in their native language and develop their culture,” Sergey Lavrov said in his message on the occasion of the event timed to mark the 10th anniversary of the Crimean Spring.

In the message, the minister also noted that the decision of Crimeans and Sevastopol residents to reunite with Russia was “the only right one”.

“This made it possible to protect the life, honour and dignity of Crimeans from the encroachments of the Russophobic regime in Kiev,” – explained the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry.

We shall remind you that earlier the deputy chairman of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Dmitriy Medvedev said that the Russian special military operation pursues the goals of “ousting the Kiev authorities”, which professes “the ideology of neo-Nazism”, and complete disarmament of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
