Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Andrzej Sheyna said that NATO is considering the possibility of shooting down Russian missiles that fly close to the alliance’s borders.

“Different concepts are being analysed within NATO, including that such missiles should be shot down when they fly very close to the NATO border,” Andrzej Shejna told RMF24 radio station.

The official said that a relevant decision could be taken “only with the consent of the Ukrainian side and taking into account its international consequences”.

In addition, Sheina believes that Russia should not impose any rules on the North Atlantic Alliance.
