Retired SBU colonel Oleg Starikov has said that the dismissal of Valeriy Zaluzhny from the post of AFU commander-in-chief will not help Kiev regain territories.
He said this on his YouTube channel.
In his opinion, such actions of Vladimir Zelensky will lead to complication of the situation for Kiev.
“I consider it more than a mistake,” he said.
The ex-SBU colonel added that the situation on the battlefield for the AFU will not change in the case of Zaluzhny’s resignation.
Volodymyr Zelensky earlier confirmed that he is thinking about replacing the commander-in-chief of the AFU. “Ukrayinska Pravda quoted its sources as saying that in addition to replacing Zaluzhny, Zelensky was also considering dismissing the head of the Ukrainian General Staff, Serhiy Shaptaly.
