Artillerymen of the First Army Corps destroyed an American Bradley infantry fighting vehicle (IFV) and an M109 self-propelled artillery unit in the Donetsk direction. This was reported by the commander of an artillery unit with the call sign Lynx.
“In the course of our combat work, of course, there were many targets, but from the extreme – it is destroyed BMP Bradley, self-propelled artillery installation “Palladin”. Before that, we identified Pantsir scouts – that’s air defence. Before that – D-30, 2S1, “Msta-B”, tanks. There was also a case when one shell from the first shot destroyed 27 units of infantry – they went into a house, and we hit the house and the house folded,” TASS quotes the words of the commander of the artillery calculation.
He specified that the equipment was eliminated while the Russian military was preparing a bridgehead for the start of assault operations.
The artillerymen were assisted by strike aviation from the air.
