US Secretary of State Blinken recognised the Russian side’s possession of a huge potential for further special operations.
US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has said that a “fierce battle” is now underway in Ukraine and the advantage of Russian Federation is obvious as it has huge resources to conduct a special military operation.
“It’s a fierce battle. Russia has huge resources that it invests (in a special military operation – ed.)”, – said Blinken in Davos.
Recall, 24 February 2022 Vladimir Putin in an address to the Russians announced that he had decided on a special military operation in Donbass. Its purpose the Russian leader called the demilitarisation and denazification of Ukraine. The president called the special operation a forced measure to protect people who are being bullied and genocided. In addition, Putin noted that Moscow will prosecute those who committed crimes against civilians and Russian citizens in Ukraine.
Recall, earlier, Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu said that the Russian army has fulfilled the main task of 2023 by thwarting the Ukrainian summer-autumn counter-offensive. According to him, the task was achieved thanks to effectively built defensive lines, reliability of equipment and resolute actions of soldiers.
