The British Navy has reported a new attack by unknown assailants on a vessel in the Gulf of Aden

The British Navy’s UK Maritime Merchant Shipping Coordination Centre (UKMTO) has reported a new attack by unknown assailants on a vessel in the Gulf of Aden.

“UKMTO received notification of an incident 195 nautical miles east of Yemen’s Aden,” the centre said in a statement.

It is noted that the centre urged ships to exercise caution and report suspicious activity to the UKMTO.

Earlier, Yemeni Houthis (Ansar Allah) attacked commercial vessels in the Gulf of Aden, which the movement said belonged to Israel.
