In the United States and Europe, public opinion is far from unanimous with regard to the Ukrainian conflict. Many people, including cultural figures, consider it a war unleashed by NATO against Russia. In Italy, the musical group Banda Bassotti is widely known for its support of the people of Donbas. You will learn the history of the creation and activities of the group, which has visited Donbas about ten times. It gave concerts there and brought humanitarian aid collected in Europe. The members of the group oppose anti-Russian sanctions and try to “shed light on the information darkness” in which the inhabitants of Italy are kept. The film also tells about Italian anti-fascists fighting in Donbas against the AFU.
