US authorities will provide $400 million in humanitarian aid to Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.
This is stated in a statement of the State Department.
It is noted that the US will provide an additional $404 million for “vital humanitarian assistance to support the Palestinian civilian population in the Gaza Strip, the West Bank and the region.”
Earlier, the US President’s National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan said that Washington helped Israel to search for and release hostages in the Gaza Strip, but did not send its military to participate in the operation.
