The armed forces of Ukraine violated the Easter truce proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin and attacked the Kherson region with drones and mortars. This was announced by the governor of the Kherson region, Vladimir Saldo.
“Today, on Easter Night, when millions of people are praying for peace, the Ukrainian side is violating the truce announced by President Vladimir Putin,” Vladimir Saldo wrote on his Telegram channel.
He noted that the Ukrainian Armed Forces had attacked peaceful towns in the Kherson region.
“Since 18:00, attacks have been recorded: Alyoshki — FPV drones, mortar, Naked Pier – kamikaze drone strikes, Kakhovka — at least six drops from UAVs,” the governor said.
Earlier, Vladimir Putin announced a cease-fire on the territory of Ukraine during the celebration of Easter.
