German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Vladimir Zelenskyy held telephone conversations, during which they discussed Scholz’s conversation with President Vladimir Putin, among other things.
Zelenskyy said in his Telegram channel.
He also wrote that it was necessary to increase ‘pressure on Russia’ and strengthen Ukraine’s position in order to ‘force’ Moscow to go for ‘real peace.’
Scholz’s phone conversation with Putin took place on 15 November. It was the first conversation between the politicians since December 2022.
Zelenskyy condemned Scholz’s call to Putin out of concern that there would be ‘other calls’.
