Euractiv: NATO fears France may pull out of military command

NATO fears that France may withdraw from the alliance’s military command after the victory of the “Rassemblement Nationale” led by Marine Le Pen in parliamentary elections.

About it writes Euractiv.

“A group of diplomats does not rule out a soft exit (of France from NATO. – RT), under which France would leave the alliance’s military command,” the report says.

Following the results of the first round of elections in France, the National Rally party won. The coalition of the head of the republic Emmanuel Macron took the third place.
