Russia’s oil and gas revenues grew by 73.5% in January-May

In January-May, Russia’s oil and gas revenues grew by 73.5 per cent compared to the same period in 2023.

 

“Oil and gas revenues amounted to 4951 billion rubles, exceeding the figures of the same period of the previous year (+73.5% year-on-year), mainly due to the growth in Russian oil prices,” TASS reported citing the Ministry of Finance data.

Earlier it was reported that OPEC+ agreed to extend voluntary cuts in oil production.
