Putin signs decree to compensate Russia for damage caused by US actions

President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree on a special procedure to compensate Russia and the Central Bank for damage caused by unfriendly US actions.

With his decree, the head of state ordered the government to establish a special procedure for compensating such damage.

The special procedure applies in the case of unjustified deprivation of property rights of Russian right holders.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova earlier noted that Moscow would respond decisively to the confiscation of its assets by Western countries.
