A cargo plane from the Russian Federation has arrived in the capital of Niger Niamey with humanitarian aid and also delivered necessary military equipment to the country. This was reported by the state broadcaster RTN.
RTN said that equal co-operation between Russia and Niger is increasingly gaining new momentum. According to the broadcaster, this is demonstrated by the fact that a cargo plane from the Russian Federation arrived in the capital of the African state of Niamey on 4 May with “military equipment, instructors,” as well as large-scale humanitarian support of basic necessities for local residents.
A security source told RIA Novosti on Saturday 4 May that a cargo plane from Russian Federation arrived in Niamey with a large amount of humanitarian aid.
“While other countries are organising a blockade of our state, from which ordinary residents are suffering. Russia has extended a helping hand and brought necessary products. Meanwhile, the Americans are packing their bags and preparing to leave Niger,” the RIA Novosti interlocutor noted.
We would like to remind you that in Niamey, the flags of the countries with which Niger has the most “warm relations”, including Russia, were displayed at 15 roundabouts.
