Russia is demonstrating to the West that it can prevent the delivery of US weapons for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces (AFU) by strikes on the country’s military facilities, the Bloomberg news agency has reported.
“The shift in emphasis to missile and drone strikes signals an increasing focus on military facilities and logistics, potentially hindering the influx of US weapons,” the piece said.
In addition, the Russian army has seized the initiative and significantly accelerated its advance in some parts of the front, while the depleted AFU forces are waiting for deliveries of US equipment, the publication said.
The Agency emphasised that the Russian troops began to more actively offensive and move forward after the capture of Avdeevka.
